The 21st Global Inspiration Conference (GIC) is taking place 11th to 18th July 2014 in the beautiful West of Ireland. The GIC is an annual event organised by the International Breathwork Foundation (IBF) – a worldwide networking organisation for breathwork practitioners and all those interested in the transformative power of the breath.

The theme for GIC2014 is: “Embracing Professionalism, Diversity & Community”

Each year the conference attracts a diverse group of people: young and old, academic and creative, including allopathic and alternative practitioners from all over the world. The event brings together respected keynote speakers and health practitioners who present a wide range of workshops and seminars each day. Up-to-date research is shared on the many benefits of conscious breathing for our psychological and physical health and our wellbeing. The resulting environment promotes greater understanding of the transformative power of the breath, while fostering a respect for each modality of healing and what it has to offer. Conscious breathing remains one of the most potent tools for transformation.

Areas of expertise include: Rebirthing, Integrative Breathwork, Transformational Breath®, Holographic Breathwork, Holotropic Breathwork, Vivation, Buteko, Pranyama, Toning, Chanting and more.

We welcome contributions to the event such as offering a workshop or running a discussion group. Many workshop leaders are experienced practitioners / facilitators / trainers. Others maybe be stepping outside their comfort zone to offer a workshop or class for the first time. The variety of levels of experience adds to the beauty and richness of the event. The GIC is a wonderful opportunity for personal and professional growth, as well as a time for making friends and valuable connections all over the world.

As 2014 is the UN Year of the Family, we are delighted to welcome parents and their children to the conference. We would also invite experienced facilitators to consider offering workshops for both adults and children. The GIC Youth Club will also be providing activities for children.

The website is updated continually – so right now you will find information on: Venue, Accommodation and Conference Fees, Early Bird, Booking Form and Payment.

Information on Keynote Speakers and Workshops will be included as we receive confirmation from invited individuals. We will also be suggesting Post-GIC Tours.
